Una nueva generación del Pathfinder llegará al mercado estadounidense en pocos meses, con la promesa de ofrecer más robustez y tecnología que cualquier otro Pathfinder de anteriores generaciones. La gran sorpresa para nuestro mercado es que estará disponible dentro de la gama de productos de Nissan para América Latina, antes de finalizar el año.
The 2022 Pathfinder is all-new from the wheels up. The new design incorporates a massive front presence and larger tire appearance – giving it an authentic, rugged SUV feel from the start. Overall width has increased 1.2 inches for an imposing look, while overall length remains approximately the same as the previous generation – the right size for maneuvering parking lots and trails alike.
La carrocería muestra un diseño con muchos de los elementos actuales de Nissan como la parrilla y las luces con la nueva firma para las luces diurnas. Atrás incluye la tendencia actual de unir ambas lámparas con una pieza plástica, que en el caso de la Pathfinder es negra para destacar las letras Pathfinder en cromado y gran tamaño sobre el portón. En general esta nueva Pathfinder muestra una carrocería más agresiva, con mayor aire aventurero y unas formas más angulosas que la anterior.
The 2022 Pathfinder is all-new from the wheels up. In the rear, the wide-aspect LED taillights are slimmer than the previous design. The “boxed out” liftgate returns to the boldness of the first Pathfinder, including the oversized, satin chrome PATHFINDER name.
El motor sigue siendo el conocido V6 de 3.5 litros, pero ahora dispone de inyección directa y 284 HP, con un torque de 350 Nm. Al contrario de otros modelos de la marca no se ofrecerá con la transmisión CVT sino con una automática convencional con 9 velocidades, que equipará tanto a la versión de tracción delantera como a la de tracción total. esta última dispone de un selector de modos de manejo con 7 opciones diferentes: estándar, deportivo, ecológico, nieve, arena, barro y remolque. Sobre este último punto la marca anuncia una capacidad de remolque de hasta 1,360 kilos.

The combination of the proven V6 and all-new 9-speed provides strong acceleration and driver confidence when merging or driving out of a turn, and minimizes rpm variation on a grade.
De serie vendrá con el Nissan Safety Shield 360 con lo último en ayudas a la conducción, incluyendo frenado autónomo y cruise control inteligente.Las versiones de mayor equipamiento dispondrán también del Nissan ProPILOT con navegación.
El interior mantiene las tres filas de asientos, pero configurada de modo que hay capacidad para 8 personas. El tablero está dominado por una pantalla central táctil de 9 pulgadas y un cuadro de instrumentos en una pantalla de alta resolución de 12.3 pulgadas. Las versiones más equipadas disponen de “head up display” con diversos menú.
Among the long list of striking interior touches, a new, available 12.3-inch Digital Dashboard provides the driver with a variety of easy-to-navigate screen options. Complementing the Digital Dashboard is an available 10.8-inch Head-Up Display. New to Pathfinder, the Head-Up Display enables the driver to keep surroundings in vision while viewing preferred content, such as turn-by-turn directions – allowing drivers to keep focused on the road.
